A New Peer Ministry Supporting Women

Elizabeth Ministry is a peer outreach to women and their families during the challenges of childbearing years and beyond. It is based on the tradition of Elizabeth’s and Mary’s mutual support during their pregnancies. Elizabeth Ministry shares the sacredness of our lives and promotes strong family relationships.

In St. Elizabeth Ministry we minister to the needs of those experiencing pregnancy and birth, fertility or infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth or child death. We also support those with infants with special needs or who are in crisis. We also support those interested in adoption. Our ministry also supports those who are struggling to live lives of chastity by helping married couples and families struggling with pornography addictions and other moral struggles.

If you have experienced any of these and would be willing to support other women in our Parish family please consider being a part of our new ministry. Please contact the Parish Nurse, Bernadette May at 972-934-8388, Ext. 318, or at bmay@strita.net, if you are interested or if you need support in any of these areas.
