A Light in North Dallas!

“You yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house…”
-1 Peter 2:5

Saint Rita Catholic Church was founded in the Diocese of Dallas by the Jesuit Fathers of the New Orleans Province in 1961. Now we are a vibrant and diverse community of Catholic Christians devoted to Christ, to one another, and to our neighbors. St. Rita has flourished under the care of eleven pastors, the current pastor being Msgr. Bob Coerver. St. Rita is located in the heart of North Dallas and serves the spiritual and material needs of people for miles around.

Saint Rita Catholic School
was founded in 1964 also by the Jesuits and was run by the Bernadine Sisters for more that 25 years. Today the school serves hundreds of children from kindergarten through the eighth grade and is recognized throughout the educational world as an excellent institution of learning and growth.
