    • In addition to utilizing our online giving portal below to donate by ACH or credit card, we also wanted to remind you about other giving mechanisms to consider that maximize your impact and reduce your taxes.  In all cases, we encourage you to consult your financial advisor or tax consultant about tax-deductibility of any gifts made to St. Rita Catholic Community.

      Give by Check

Donations to St. Rita Catholic Community by check are always welcome and can be mailed to the parish office (12521 Inwood Road, Dallas, TX 75244) or dropped off in the collection baskets during Mass.  If you are not receiving personalized monthly envelopes from the parish and would like to do so, please email Vilma Ricciardi at [email protected] to sign up.

      Use Appreciated Securities:

By donating appreciated securities (such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds) that you have owned for longer than one year, you receive the same income tax savings as you would by making a gift of cash. You also eliminate any tax on the appreciation. Please note: If the securities are electronically transferred, the gift date is the day the securities enter our account - not the date you ask your broker to make the transfer.

Make a Gift from Your IRA

If you are 70 1/2 or older,  you can give any amount up to $105.000 as a QCD directly from your IRA to St. Rita Catholic Community. You will not pay income tax on the transfer. If you are required to take minimum distributions, your gift can satisfy all or part of that requirement.  Please note: Your IRA Administrator must remove the funds from your account by December 31 in order for your donation to qualify for the current tax year.  If you have check writing features on your IRA, your check must clear your account by December 31 to qualify for the current tax year.

make a grant from Your Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

Contact your advisor to initiate a grant from your existing DAF to St. Rita Catholic Community.
